Born and raised in Iowa, my family moved to California in the 60’s. In the 70’s I married and raised 3 children in the Sacramento and Los Angeles areas. As the children grew older, I began my working career as a Commercial Manager for a district office of Farmer’s Insurance in Carson, CA. I enjoyed training the agents and most especially enjoyed rating and underwriting business exposures. After many years of that, the desert called to me and I moved to Palm Springs in 1990.

I began working for a Better Homes & Gardens real estate franchise in Palm Desert, eventually becoming the office manager; we had 6 offices and 150 agents. During my 15 years there, I became licensed as well.
